Behind The Scenes : Es Devlin

Es Devlin, artist and world renowned stage designer is best known at the go-to creator of spectacular stadium shows for the likes of Beyonce, Adele, Kanye West and U2.

But she also works with theatre and opera directors where her sets offer not just background but a metaphorical layer to the meaning of the production.

We visit her South London studio to meet the team and to hear how, amid the cancellations and postponements of 2020 she is fashioning art works and open air events that combine ideas and music and film.
