Pete Waterman’s Armistice Day Special

BBC Radio 2

Legendary record producer Pete Waterman takes his daughter, Toni Tuesday, on a journey to the battlefields and memorials of Flanders in search of his two grandfathers, both of whom fought in the First World War. He reflects on the music and poetry that, for him, most powerfully evoke the adventure, the horror and the sadness of war. This is Pete’s personal and moving attempt to share his powerful family memories of the war with his daughter and us all.
